Hope Sara gets well! And Nicolai returns from being lost.

Lost in Translation

This is not a good day. At all.

All three of us are down with the same bug: headache, sore throat, runny nose, swollen glands and aching body - times three. And all of us work at the same place so we can't be home sick at the same time. Today Kristina stayed at home in bed which meant that I had to drag myself to work and she wasn’t the only one who didn't come in to work. Right now we are 4 people covering the Nordic market; Ida and I are alone on trying to deal with the Danish line. I do not understand Danish, not even a little bit, so it takes me like 5 minutes just to understand that they have the wrong number.

Most of all I just want to go home, pull my duvet over my head and then break down and cry.

Bugged

I have fetched myself a brand new bug, though I am quite sure the culprit is Jojo who must have e-mailed it to me. My head is filled with so much cotton that it hurts and I passed out at 8 last night. During these circomstances it's hard to look forward to a "fancy drink"-evening after work, but I will do my best. It can't be that bad to mix ibuprofen with bloody marys, right?

My turn

to leave work early. For the first time. Iv'e been generally healthy for four months. But today, I don't know what hit me. In the head. Hard. But it hurts. My head hurts so much I feel dizzy and a bit sick.

Bugs. Again.

Poor Sara just left work. Her evil tummy bug attacked her, again! I can't beleive it. So no dinner at Eva's tonight. I'm going to go right home and take care of her after work. So that she doesn't feel alone. Because by now we can be pretty sure that it's not contaigous.

So a nice night in with Buffy, and maybe some icecream for me (none for the squirrel, her tummy needs some rest. Tea, maybe).

Dizzy up the girl

So I've been at home sick for a couple of days. I hate being sick and ever since I came to Ireland I've picked up more bugs than ever: ear bugs, eye bugs, fluish bugs and the most recent one is a tummy bug – I am starting to feel like a beehive (or something from Buffy). All these bugs makes me want to say something along the lines of “Screw you leprechauns, I’m going home”, but on the other hand, if you get a kick from eating antibiotics there's no place like Ireland.

Anyway, now that I am finally able to eat again without retur... eh... whatever, you get the point, I've got the worst headache ever and the world is spinning around me in loads of beautiful colours. Lovely. Oh well, at least now staring at the ceiling is a bit more interesting.
