Can you feel it?!?
Since Sweden was extremely crushed by Russia we have all been feeling extremely low, sad... rootless. That's why we haven't been updating lately.
But now! It's better! Happiness!
Sara is back, and she has really landed, she's a part of our lives again. And so is Olof, by now. He made copys of our keys even. And when Sara moves back to Sweden he's going to take her room. Wich is... wierd, in ways, but nice as well. Lots of fun. I'm sad that Sara's leaving but happy that Olof is moving in.
Last night Jojo arrived, with gifts! Candy and fishy things for me and I like her now. Fiiiish. And tomorrow (on Dave's birthday!) Amalie is arriving!!! It's great! We all miss her so.
Work is a bit tough, lots of calls and not very nice ones. We're all feeling a bit stressed out and tired over that.
But hey... Six people living on 22 Vicar for a couple of days. How about that, huh? Then Olof (who doesn't really live here but spends most nights) goes home to Sweden for his vacation. (Home? I didn't mean home. Cork is home. Sweden is gestapocountry.)
Well, all in all, life is pretty good.

Story like!?!?
Also I forgot to do all the important stuff I was gonna do today. I ate pizza... And then my brain turned off. Anyways!
They moved out just a few days ago and Sara is back inna da house! Work is really different, Nicolai (commonly reffered to as "Pornboy") moved back to Denmark, Viola and Johan are there, Sara left and came back, Liz was moved and Marta sits over with us instead... The mood is high at work, especially after Sweden won their first game! Keep this up and we will all be hysterical all the time. I'm helping Björn from socs out with routercalls... That he's helping us with. (He knows danish. We have no danish agent.)
And even higher since we got monopoly on our computers! Thank you norwegian nerd! Now we can't focus at all... And we hate eachother intensely. So much funsies.
Pretty soon we will be even more people in here, Amalie, our most beloved Danish girl comes here in just a couple of weeks! And Jojo, Sara's sweetheart asian babe, is going to live for a couple of weeks in 22 Vicar as well! Popular house this... Our list of telephone numbers to familymembers that we have on the fridge in case of emergency is just gonna keep growing I guess... I like it.
Now it's pretty late and I'm doing some dishes, after that it's either straight to bed or maybe some Angel and ice cream... We'll see what Maria says.
xoxoxo
/Yours truly

She's already gone away
This weekend has been very slow and that was just what I needed after the crazy trip to Sweden; the Wednesday dinner with Eva and Carl and (of course) the pub crawling. I spent Friday to Sunday at home, watching Scrubs and msn:ing with Jojo - and God did I love it. We also ate loads of fast food, ice cream and spent the time with animated movies and But I’m a Cheerleader.
After having built up that much energy I spent it all cleaning - I was supposed to vacuum upstairs but then I found that I just could not stop. I also helped Kristina cook a wonderful Easter dinner for 9 Swedish and Danish people on Monday. The menu was as follows:
- Starter: Cheese pie with green salad
- Main: Salmon with mashed potatoes, asparagus and Kristina’s famous Hollandaise sauce
- Dessert: Homemade lime sorbet with raspberry sauce.
Yummy.
It was a very nice evening, and also the last one with Amalie. She left for Dublin this morning and will fly to Denmark tomorrow. The seat beside Kristina is empty and we no longer have anyone who beats cats and decides who should wear a hat. We miss you already, Amalie. We will have your toothbrush and your slippers ready for when you come back.
I have also started a new quest: Studieortsbyte! Please LU, accept me!

The Mafia goes Pub Crawling
After Amalie figured out the tricky rebus we gave her we were off to Franciscan Well. There we ran in to Edwin and some French guys, who by the way accused me of not talking to them at work. Well... They're French? :P We also learned that in Denmark big breasts means sorry, we sang drinking songs about men’s reproduction organs and compared shoes.
To get to the next pub Amalie went around asking all the French guys in the place what "that's it" is in Irish and eventually she lead the way to Sin É. We were in a bit of a hurry; since no pubs are open on Good Friday everything closes at midnight, so after just enough time for Amalie to chug a beer we were off to Shelbourne. Kristina and I had the best road description prepared but Hannah kind of spoiled the surprise so we never got to use it. Just as well, I guess, since walking straight was challenging enough.
The Shelbourne part of the evening is a bit fuzzy for me, but at least I know that all the Danish Socs accompanied us. I also know that you shouldn't fall asleep at a pub, because people will take pictures and they are not flattering. Yeah, well, judging by the pictures Amalie and I slept quite well and the bartender said good morning rather than threw us out.
As you might imagine, our Good Friday has involved loads of sleeping and some effort has been made to recalling the previous evening. We have also had some take away, ice cream and an animated movie (Finding Nemo). As far as hangovers go, this was so much better than I thought it would be and the evening was so worth it. I am really going to miss Amalie (I still hope that she will change her mind) but at least now we have sent her off in best Mafia manner.

'Tis a black day
She has promised to visit though, and I will visit her as well.
Tonight I'm making chicken with lemon and tarragon, mom's speciality, and Sara has been to the gym, and we're not gonna watch Buffy 'cause Sara's going to bed early so me and Maria are watching something else... And yeah, that sums it up I think. Yesterday we watched Buffy (we're almost through the second season! Only Becoming 1 & 2 left) and tomorrow we're gonna watch Grey's Anatomy and that sums up the week as well I think...
And oh yeah... We never watched the Oscars since they did'nt even air it! Were gonna download it though.
